The Growing Families Home Visitation Program offered through the Greater Foothills Family Centre is a voluntary program for expectant parents and families with children 0-6 years of age that aims to strengthen parenting capacity, promote child development, caregiver resilience, enhance community connections through strength based home visits.

Working together, your Family Support Worker can support you with

Providing a safe and nurturing environment for your children Building secure attachments Strengthening positive parent and child relationships Learning what to expect as your child learns and grows Connecting to your community and accessing programs and supports and resources

The Branches In Home Support Program offered through the Greater Foothills Family Centre is a voluntary program for families with children 7-11 years of age to help them thrive. We offer support as families build strong, healthy relationships and create a nurturing home environment.

We walk alongside parents to:

Strengthen parent-child relationships Build positive parenting strategies Improve Communication Strengthen Resilience in both parents and children Develop healthy coping skills Build supportive social connections
